They charge you for exceeding your cap now?

I have heard rumours that they charge you R 1.00 per megabyte that you exceed your "soft cap".

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

only on the flexi packages...

On the older classic packages, you will theoretically be warned if you exceed your soft cap and asked to cut back on usage or upgrade. Some users have been contacted but the policy is yet to be applied across the board.

Excess usage on the flexi accounts is charged at R1 per MB.
