Mom in hospital.
Second car accident in 6 months where I'm simply waiting for the robot to turn green and rammed into. FFS.
Back is buggered after 8 months of lessened pain. Now, I'm back on Schedule-6 pain meds and Nerve relaxants while I try get myself together and functional.

All in all rough week and can't even drink. Furk

Get well soon man. Both of you.

Not finding one dentist practice open over weekends in this forsaken town. There is a bit of a sense of urgency as I am out of town until Wednesday. I guess I'll be living off pain meds until then

When I buy a bag of apples at the supermarket and some have bruises on them. Why don't they pack apples differently to avoid this problem?

Ex not leaving my old flat because she booked a horrendous Airbnb and cannot cancel it and now has no money for anything else.

And I need to give the flat back to the landlord on Monday...

Isn't the flat in her name?

Mine. But if I didn’t leave and leave her without any furniture, she wouldn’t have moved a finger.

So I’m paying two flats for her laziness...

Why are you paying? She's a squatter, get the previous owner to evict her.

I’m not the owner but the tenant and i hold the lease (which is still running), if I don’t pay I’m in default and I brought her so it’s my responsibility.

I can’t give back the flat to the landlord with her inside, no landlord in his right mind would accept the handover.

Of course you can. Simply stop paying as per lease agreement. But if you leaving your own furniture behind, that is a different story.

That’s called taking the law in your hands...

To stop paying, I have to hand it over. To hand it over, it has to be free.

My furniture is already out, hers is still there.

Read my sentence again. If I didn’t x, she wouldn’t have y.

It implies that I did x.

Ok. My algebra obviously differs to yours.

But ignoring all that, are you hoping to get back together with her then?

Jumping willingly in a barrel of sulfuric acid or being willingly buried alive is more likely.

I moved out with my furniture and take a hit of paying double rent for 2 months, it’s not to go back with her.

The issue is that now she doesn’t leave the old flat when planed and I have to give back the old flat (which I would have loved to keep but since she refused to leave I had no choice than to cancel the lease).

You a lawyer; you should know how to deal with this situation?

Court > eviction order > sheriff... will take months and take me too much time.

She is willing and keen to leave as she doesn’t have a fridge or anywhere to seat except a bed, but the issue is when.

Again, as a lawyer you should know how to negotiate these things?
