Started noticing that small things in the traffic and the office were starting to trigger me. Glad I took the day, slept in, sorted out the swimming pool, played pc games a bit, watched the last episode of a series and the first of a new one.

Only box I didn't tick was the braai, but was not angry with the rain at all.

The boom gate at our enclosed area is manually operated by a security guard.

This morning when I approached he was on the opposite side of the road and so deep in thought that he opened that side instead. I thought nothing of it and changed course at which stage he realised his error, promptly became embarrassed and ran across the road to open the correct side.

We both had a good laugh at his embarrassment - his facial expression was priceless. :ROFL:
 
Today's hero in my world; my 11yo lad. Missed about 5 months of school because of lockdown and his school's woeful response to education. Moved him to a new school in October. Desperate times, desperate measures. Awarded a certificate for 85% plus aggregate. Super proud of his achievement.

Drove up the road. Some guy was walking in the middle of the road towards me, did not see me coming up, he was too preoccupied. I was driving slower than 10km/h.

Gave a quick parp on my horn, he nearly jumped out of his skin and laughed.

My usage is pretty constant over the years...nothing major. Now there are 6TB bundles going for the same as 1TB was like a year ago. So that ends up being functionally unlimited for a once off price
