Things that please you...

She could be talking about China as well #justsaying
China has colonies that they still control in Africa? Geezuz! I need to go get a refund from my high school history classes.
Oh look I found a map of all the Chinese colonies in Africa:

Oh, wait, I didn't, did I?

After initial issue with the order and payment process, my Geewiz order arrived yesterday (within the 1 day delivery promised).

However, I would be reluctant to order from them again.

Right. Where are the legacy colonial lands once occupied by China that are now creating a immigrant crisis in the "west"?

Stop conflating things and calling me the moron.

This thread is not the place for that discussion.

But I do not think he was referencing China in the sense that it has legacy colonial lands, but rather that it is providing financial support in exchange for, what could be perceived as, more than the fair share of returns thus exploiting Africa.

Yes, it may not be as relevant to the immigrant discussion part of the conversation, but it does have a small correlation.

But regardless of who is wrong, who is right and who has the biggest general knowledge, could we please not have that argument in this thread?

I have had two spam calls recently regarding me being a Vodacom customer, one for a contract 'upgrade' and the other for a Black Friday special. Both had the same modus operandi, not asking whether I am interested but rather going straight in to the offer and then asking whether I would like a device delivered to my home or office or information so they can sign me up over the phone. I play along simply saying OK until there is an obvious question to which I reply no and the spammer get's upset...
