Yeah it kinda sucks, the mornings especially because of being late anxiety, afternoons I didn't mind as I just sit and have a drink and jam tunes.

We only need to have a signal cable from one inverter to the generator, no big changes needed.

Inverter then will control generator, much less diesel used, and maintenance.
