Things that please you...

Remember to ensure the tree feller has insurance because if it goes wrong and damages something there will be no cover on your policy.
It's been done for 2 days now, nothing got damaged, though some muppet drivers who went around the cones and bakkie blocking off where they were cutting. It's like uhmm do you not see parts of a tree falling down

I'm hopeful our local squatter camp is being evicted today.
The last time they tried to evict the squatters at Mnandi the highway was blocked and two/three houses and a school was torched.

Luckily they managed to get the squatters evicted finally without loss of property.

Landowner dug a trench all around his property, in order to prevent squatters from invading again.

So, for your sake I hope they get rid of the squatters properly. Send 'em to Nkandla, lots of space and free water/electricity, and a very friendly landord.

Learned some knots. I'm an adult who basically only knows how to tie one kind of knot and they're the knots used to tie a shoe. And after learning just three knots I'm amazed how this kind of stuff isn't taught in school because it's immediately obvious the utility they have.

Evenk Hitch (super easy to tie and unties by pulling a single thread)
Taught-Line hitch (cool for creating slack / tension on a tent rope)
Truckers Hitch (get some real nice tension on a rope, cool for bigger tents or tying stuff down on a trailer)

We got taught some of these in Landsdiens, but I've long forgotten half of those. Cool find!
