Hi everyone
I'm looking into buying a ThinkPad E520s from LaptopDirect but I noticed they sell a model with Intel HD 3000 graphics for more money than a model with an ATI Radeon HD 6630M (with 1GB GDDR5):
ThinkPad E520s with AMD Radeon HD 6630M (R6,766.00)
http://www.laptopdirect.co.za/laptop_specifications.php?laptop=46412
ThinkPad E520s with Intel HD graphics (R7,491.00)
http://www.laptopdirect.co.za/laptop_specifications.php?laptop=48430
Their hasty response confirmed having discrete options is faster, so why is the model with onboard Intel HD graphics more expensive? Is there a benefit having the Intel HD graphics?
Cheers
