On a 2mb line, used to get like 150 kb/s speeds (download) now it's like 10 kb/s

General browsing is also frustratingly slow.

Thought maybe i downloaded too much and am being capped, but it's 4 days into a new month and still slow.

Resetting router did nothing.

What now?
 
They work on a 30 day rolling window and not month to month, so you might be throttled.

Contact MWeb guy to check for you.

Left MWEB a few years back, best move I ever made in relation to my internet habit.

Mweb are throttling torrents to near zero speeds, to "protect their network". so if it's torrent speeds that have dropped, then you're out of luck.
Unintended casualty... I tried a Starcraft update (haven't played in months) and the speeds were hopeless...

As mentioned, it's a 30 day rolling window. You'll need to lower your usage over a day or several in order to fall back down below the limit. This can even be done for free by using a WebAfrica or Afrihost free 1GB account. That or upgrade your MWEB account.
