the reason I chose the P6T-SE instead of the P6T-Dlx V2 was because you said you wanna crossfire.(P6T-Dlx V2 = SLi and crossfire P6T-SE = crossfire)

From Guru3D:
"The card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit at minimum if you use it in a high-end system. That power supply needs to have (in total accumulated) at least 40 Amps available on the +12 volts rails."
That power supply does 76Amps over a single 12+ rail (It only has one).

Corsair RAM is over hyped and expensive. My suggestion would be to head on over to www.ikonicit.co.za and look at the OCZ 1600Mhz RAM. It runs CL7 instead of Corsair's CL9 and will set you back R1700 for the set. (Though, you would have to pay R120 in shipping charges)

Still, all in all that system looks very good.

That's an excellent all round system. But can you get another case? Everyone has either haf932's or cm690's these days. And go 24" preferably - you'll be surprised the difference it makes going from 23-24.

Awesome build.

+1 for the OCZ RAM, corsair is BS

Go for he HAF932, it's an awesome case (if you want to stand out get a Zalman TNN chassis, i love those :p)

The PSU is sufficient, Corsair makes rock solid power supplies.

Don't go for the P6T - SE, it's a cr@p mobo ;)

You thinking of overclocking?
Did you even read the OP...?

Thanks for the help what 24" screen would you guys recommend and
what headset

hmm this machine looks real good and with out the lcd screen and cpu cooler it falls into my budget ever so slightly. MY question is, do i need a cpu cooler to overclock? nothing too high maybe like 3.2ghz. im new to overclocking

Yes, you do.

You need a cpu cooler even if you don't oc :p

If you mean an "aftermarket" cpu cooler, then yes, i'd recommend getting one as the stock cooler sucks

hmm interesting when i got my q9400 and asked my pc man( the guys who try to squeeze every last cent outa you) he said its was not necessary as the stock cooler was fine

If you don't intend on ocing the stock cooler is fine. (really depends on the cpu though, you can oc an E5200 to 3.5GHz or so with the stock cooler so yeah...)

What i meant was that you NEED a cpu cooler, i did not say an aftermarket cooler was needed i just said a cpu cooler is needed

I7 runs hot, so if you want to oc i'd suggest you get an aftermarket cooler. Or just build the pc and oc it with the stock cooler installed, if the temps are too high get a new cooler else just stick with the stock one
