im getting 916kb/s download and 431 upload... this is the 3rd test ive done and im hitting the 900's.

Hey everyone.

I upgraded from 384kbps to 4mbit this afternoon and speedtest.net consistently shows results of 3440 kbps down and 145 kbps upload.

The download looks ok, but looking at the upload speeds posted here, mine seems very low. Any suggestions as to why this could be?

That does seem very low. Did you use a local mirror?

Can you provide your noise margin and attenuation figures?

Have you tried another local site to test your upload speed with, e.g. http://www.sentech.co.za/speedtest/display_speed.php ?
