This damned Survey

and somehow it is breaking the page (well on my browsers anyways chrome and firefox). You can't see the survey as it is invisible and I cant click the flippen links behind it. In firefox I can see the "border" where it supposed to be and just scroll the page up till the link (mostly page number link) is out of the "border" and then click it.

Okay this post sounds a bit confusing so let me get a screenshot ...

and link moved outside the survey ...

hope this explains it ...

Yes, I had it. Put that adblock filter in that I suggested in the other survey thread- it fixed it.

Thanks, I had adblock plus disabled on MyBroadband to allow the ads and help contribute to the site.

But, the ad appears on every damn page now, and it is irritating it as hell. Flashblock doesn't work because it still leaves the frame there which blocks everything underneath it. Adding the above line to adblock gets rid of it for good.

Seems like AdBlock Plus did an update today - 30 June - and broke something. I can't access the properties or the filter list.

yea, I completed the survey ages ago, but the bottom right of my screen still has an invisible block over it that does not allow me to click anything behind it. I have to scroll up half the page to click on the "Post Quick Reply" or any of the other buttons there.

Very annoying.

Uhmm, using latest firefox and ABP but never seen any issues mentioned from the recent survey. I surf mybb everyday without fail.

I completed it about a week ago and haven't had any reminders or annoyances as such.

For my ABP filter, i have it set on "EasyList (English)"

I would complete the survey in the hopes that it would go away.... but the only problem is, I can't see it.
There is just a large white blank box where the survey should be... and it's there all the time.

Edit, could just be my imagination, but MBB page loads feel a bit faster after this. I have on a number of occasions in the past seen the status bar showing it was waiting for effectivemeasure.net.

Got the survey AGAIN!! How do I do the above?

On my desktop/laptop the sevey is ok, since it sits in the margins or dead zones next to the site sides... if that makes sense. But on my tablet the flash is disabled, and this dead zone would apear that you need to click to activate, and this on every page.

But its gone today so maybe they removed it now, or disabled for galaxy tabs.

Custom filters for Adblock in Firefox. Go dig in the settings.
