This graph shows how DStv is bleeding Premium subscribers

MultiChoice recently published its interim financial results for the period ended 30 September 2020, showing good performance but a big drop in DStv Premium subscribers.

The group added 2.1 million 90-day active subscribers across all regions compared to the same period last year, reaching 8.7 million households in South Africa.

Ah shame man, they must be really battling hope the government give them some tax breaks or maybe a bailout /s

Hello DSTV, brain fart idea, simply offer Full premium at R600.
I'd wager most compact subscribers will upgrade and you'll gain those who currently will not spend +- R900 for the full package.
Though, what do I know.

DSTV priced themselves out of the market a long time ago by not being competitive & keeping people hostage with premium by not providing sports-only or better variety of packages.

Never mind their treatment of customers with genuine concerns, remember the threads on here at the time?

Their tears of trying to play catch up & be innovative now all of a sudden is super delicious.

Dstv/Telkom still trying to hold on to that monopoly its over scumbags

DSTV has become like the government - they want more and more and do less and less
And they are providing rubbish on most of their channels. They took away some very good BBC channels and replaced them with utter crap. Like Dr Pimple Popper, HDTV which is utter crap. BBC 120 is showing ancient episodes of Top Gear ad nauseum. No wonder they are losing subscribers
