It looks like it would be fairly easy to use sea water to wash the crud into the ocean. Obviously not while they are in the harbour though.I haven’t been involved in marine engineering but why hasn’t a vessel been designed to counter the buildup and just dispose of it routinely into the ocean Durban style. Strange really.
Just turn them into cuts and stick ‘em in a fridge. Job done. Don’t know why people have to slag animals when they can just get meat at spar like everyone else.I haven’t been involved in marine engineering but why hasn’t a vessel been designed to counter the buildup and just dispose of it routinely into the ocean Durban style. Problem with using sea water might be the cattle consuming it. But I’m sure there is a simple solution that can prevent this.It looks like it would be fairly easy to use sea water to wash the crud into the ocean. Obviously not while they are in the harbour though.
Do that in Durban and the water quality will dramatically increase!I don't think the complete ban on transporting livestock is reasonable, but geez how difficult is it for a boat like this to just wash the shít away every 3rd day on the open ocean. Im 100% sure all the equipment for that is already on board, someone just need to turn on a pump.
If the SPCA had their way that ship would be parked there for days and the cattle would probably be offloaded into the V&A Waterfront.blame the spca for not letting the poor cows go home
I doubt meat is the only product that cows produce in general. It might also be to supplement a shortage in dairy products in certain regions in the middle east? On the other hand countries like the Netherlands have such an excessive amount of cows it’s affecting their emissions. If its not the one thing its the other.Just turn them into cuts and stick ‘em in a fridge. Job done. Don’t know why people have to slag animals when they can just get meat at spar like everyone else.
So the conditions on the ship killed 3 out of 19000.
I suspect the cattle already drink sea water.Problem with using sea water might be the cattle consuming it. But I’m sure there is a simple solution that can prevent this.
How close could civilians get access?
The pain and suffering makes the meat tender, inshalla.Doesn’t the high concentration of ammonia that builds up in the ship burn the fk out of their eyes and mucous membranes?
It must also make the meat taste a bit different/weird once their are slaughtered.
Flip man, how close do you want to get ? I can send you my socks to sniff if you want ?How close could civilians get access?
dramatic you say? you tell me what a literal floating farm smells like,You are being a bit dramatic.
