The difference between Rape(Current Topic) and Manslaughter/Culpable Homicide/Murder(Free State Farmer) - not sure what they will charge farmer with.. are oceans apart IMO.
The Farmer will be charged and face a court of law and the consequences of his action, whereas Rape and Rape Related cases continue unabated and very difficult to prove, especially if no real evidence of physical violence occurred during the act.
Rapes are seldom reported and if they are reported the person reporting the Rape is "raped" a second time in court when that person must give testimony against the accused.
Many woman live with the psychological damage that Rape brings for the rest of their lives.
