This would be cool.

I think 384 would be better as 256 and 128 doesn't exist. ;) Except of course if your line syncs at a maximum of 256. Wouldn't make sense to have dsl account for non-existant lines.

I don't think that they will do it though as openweb can't offer accounts that IS offers, therefore they'll have to use the 512k uncapped accounts for 384 and they will lose money. But we'll have to see, maybe MrBeep can convince IS to start offering such a package :D

Yeah the price is always the problem. I'm not sure if they can limit the speed though, because everyone is limited from telkoms side, which means that they probably don't have the right software on the server to limit it because there was never a need to. So chances are that they won't be able to make it slower without a bit of extra work... and I'm sure you know that some comapnies in this country will rather not want to do extra work ;) (btw I'm definately not talking about MrBeep and Openweb!)

Or even better, uncapped accounts with multiple concurrent connections and load balancing.

Eg if 2 people are connected to a 1mbit uncapped acc then its 512k limit per person, 4 ppl = 256 per person. etc...

Hi SenZu_BeaN,

Unfortunately OpenWeb is unable to offer an uncapped solution on smaller bandwidth pipes. We have contacted IS in this regard and they are not prepared to entertain packages like these.

Although I agree that they would be great, we cannot support them at this time.

Apologies,
