Thoughts on "desk pads"?

Looking at getting one of these giant mouse pads (a.k.a desk pads): http://www.wootware.co.za/mionix-sargas-x-large-gaming-mouse-pad.html

Does anybody use one of these and if so what are your thought on it. Does it move around the desk at all while working? Does it get dirty quickly, easy to clean? How is the mouse tracking? Quality, etc?

Don't laugh but I have a brand new klipdrift bar mat from my local, the top is a very fine weave, material is almost like neoprene and the bottom is rubber like.

It does not move around, you cant even drag it by pulling from the one side.
No dirt so far, 2months. It had a few drink stains when I got it but chucked it in the washing machine.
tracking is excellent.
It's a bloody awesome mouse pad and I love it

Hehe, that sounds great. How big is it? The one I linked is 90 x 40 which is kind of nice as it should provide some cushioning also for my elbows. Only thing I'm worried about is it getting in the way and creasing or moving about.

Love it! and it hasn't got dirty. It looks much better than my naked desk which attracted dust like crazy!

86x25cm plenty of space for kbd & mouse and it's not in the way due to the 25cm height.

Hehe, my decision to get one of these actually is actually more to do with comfort and aesthetics. Also don't want to scuff my new desk up.

My sensitivy is already high, this thing just works really well as a mouse mat.

Those long mousepads is basically a mousepad for your keyboard
