It's a fact that Isuzu's bakkies is a smooth ride. Just be prepared to pay a lot for fuel. A 2L Petrol bakkie will eat a hole in your wallet. And dont expect miracles with a load, or towing. I had a 2L colt bakkie 3 years ago, and let me tell you, that 2L engine suffers a bit.
But quality wise I dont think you can go wrong with Isuzu.

+1

If the vehicle is for a company workhorse go for 2l model. If it's for private .... look for something more umph.

Isuzus are brilliant...I had the KB 300 4x4 dc....not a rattle or squeak after 15000 hard km on the dirt..very car like from a comfort point of view.

Was going to get a second hand Toyota Hilux but got offered a real good deal on the Isuzu. Was reading the thread on petrol or diesel and some useful comments made. Read somewhere that the fuel economy on the Isuzu petrol is not too bad.
