I'd like some thoughts on whats been happening with my line for the past few days:
My ADSL stats for last year, year and half:
Down: 8181kbps - Att: 37db - Noise margin: 13.8db
Up: 638kbps - Att: 22.5db - Noise margin: 12.5db
Very stable with no issues at all.
Then suddenly - from around Sunday evening:
Down: 8128kbps - Att: 33db - Noise margin: 7db - 10db (varies)
Up: 960kbps - Att: 21.5db - Noise margin: 7db
(I tested with two different routers)
These new sync speeds - while a bit faster on the upload - is causing frequent disconnects.
Why did my sync speed change and is it possible for me to get back to the "old" stable sync rate?
Could it simply be the cold weather having an effect on the copper?
Any thoughts?
