Thoughts please?

I know this should go under "Forum, questions...etc" but thought it better to post here as it would hopefully get everyone's attention that normally frequents the Hardware and Software Forums.

I was wondering what it would be like if this specific sub-forum could be split further into discussion areas for varying hardware/software components?

Along the lines of:

  • Chassis/cases
  • Cabling
  • Lighting
  • Hard/Optical Drives
  • Windows XP/Vista/7
  • Linux (though kind of defeats the purpose as there is a dedicated Linux forum)

Just a thought...
What you all reckon?
 
I don't know if it's alot of work - it's just the creation of sub-forums which allow for a clearer view of what's happening in here.
I'd reckon that the monitoring thereof still falls inline with everything else, though I speak under heavy correction :)

IMO it'll be easier to navigate/search for related topics.
Sometimes the "Advanced Search" just doesn't give what you're looking for.

Just a thought though :)

It would be nice if the Hardware and Software was separate though .........
