I need to manage threads that I create dynamically.

If parameters from thread 2 changes (sql entry on parent thread monitoring), how can I say "thread 2, abort and recreate" ?

erm, okay so I'm not well versed in threading, but other than seeing it being given events to manage the thread that is created, how can I say "thread 2, you there, your sleep time changed from 6 seconds to 2, restart"?
