Three men were arrested for rape in Jabulani, Soweto, on Monday, Gauteng police said.
"The three allegedly grabbed a 15-year-old girl on the street around 6.30pm on Sunday, took her to an undisclosed place and raped her," Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.
He said people saw the girl with the men and told her family. When her relatives found her she told them she had been raped. A case was opened on Sunday.
"We were hunting for them the whole night and at 6am we cornered and arrested them. They will appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court within 48 hours on a charge of rape," he said.
