haven't you noticed that SA is REALLY paranoid about the word "monkey"?
It's almost like they have some hidden fear about the word...something that makes this particular word more offensive than others. It's almost like they have a fear that some link will be made or found. Hmmmm.
Very odd this. I wonder if they should seek professional help or something?

In England, the analogy is quite common, especially with naughty children or incompetent officials.

Its very common all over the world.... nothing specific to England, or here or anywhere...

Its just the ANC that chose to take offense at something that doesn't meant what they want it to mean.

Well monkeys can be very sensitive creatures, they are very sensitive to emotional content, I mean just look at out government when somebody says something that they don't like....:D
