Three railway carriages were set alight on Leonard Radu Road in Philippi in Cape Town, the City’s Fire and Rescue Services said on Monday.

Fire and Rescue Services responded to a train fire at 7.20 pm on Sunday, and managed to extinguish the fire at about 9.53 pm. According to a statement by the City of Cape Town, the probable cause of the fire was protest-related.

Tomorrow the same idiots will go to the Station expecting the train service to be running as per normal.

wonder if they will change the train announcements?

please stand back from the platform edges, a train ISNT arriving:p

maybe they will get it then:D

Just stop the trains.

I agree with this. Stop the fecking train service and advertise prominently that it is because of the POS’S that are allowed to get away with setting fire to the coaches and getting away with it. When the community gives the POS’S up and they are successfully prosecuted, then the service will resume. The minute the shiete starts again, stop the service
