Tickets issued, no letters received

I received three tickets last year for having an expired license disk (R500 a pop). Two whilst the vehicle was parked outside my house due to being stuffed, and one when it was parked outside the council offices to get a renewed disk... I've since sold the vehicle and registered it in the new owners name. I never received any letters to notify me of the tickets, just the pink tickets on my window which I promptly lost. The last one was about 6 months ago. Can I just ignore them and hope they'll go away? Cape Town area.

If I don't see anything there I usually ignore it
