My partner lives 2km from me as the crow flies. We run our business from our homes. The problem is, that we need to interconnect our phonelines, basically extend an extension from my home office to her home office. I am 3km from the exchange and she is 4km as the crow flies.

I was thinking about using a Tie Line, but how could I link the line up so that I can have Voice and Data..? I am electronically minded, so I can build filters to seperate voice and data, voice is easy, but data... not so easy... and advice? I was thinking maybe importing a small DSLAM? I need at least 1MB up and down... more would be nicer...

yeah... everyone jumps straight to WiFi, not even considering the terrain. I have to get over two very high hills... WiFi won't do it... so i have to go through an existing network.

Don't stress though, I made a deal with a local WISP. I organised them a very sort after highsight, and they will link me up with 2MB back and forth on a VLAN. They are actually hooking up my partners other business as well. So she will be connected to both her partners, me and another lady. Oh... and it's mahala... see... scratch-a-ma-back-a?
