What will I need to know to do this job?
• Matric + A+/N+/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP (2003-2008) – Must be MS certified
• Windows 7 Exam (Minimum)
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the IT networking environment
• Own Car and a valid SA Driver’s Licence
What will I do every day?
• Intermediate proactive and reactive work within the client portfolio of the team, working with incidents, problem management & change management
• Assistance with projects at clients, of which you will be incentivised
• Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of workstation hardware and software issues as well as peripherals
• Ability to setup connectivity solutions such as ADSL for example
• Thorough understanding of LANs and WANs and associated hardware
• Must have a good understanding of Active Directory setup and administration
• Must have a good understanding of Windows 7/8 and Office 2010/2013
• Must have experience in formatting and re-installing all desktop operating systems
• Must be able to troubleshoot printing, office and Antivirus issues on workstations
• Must be able to troubleshoot and install Antivirus products
• Required to interact with clients in terms of supplying recommendations to improve their network
• Positions is a roaming support position and possibilities of being onsite as well
