Whats wrong with a broom closest and a IV to keep them fed. Leave them like that for a week or two - boom, problem solved.

I suppose so.
All depends on the end user.
But personally I'll try church first. Not the extreme Noupoort stuff - just a little bit of religion will get you back on track.
Sure, nothing like embracing a delusion to fix a serious health problem. Would you go to church to heal a broken leg or if you had a heart attack? Because turning to religion to cure a drug addiction sounds just as ridiculous.
I see your point, but you have to admit that a broken leg is not that the same as an addiction which is a more of a psychological issue than physical.
Why are there so many tikheads in the Cape?

No, not hinting, it just all the Capetonians I know, know at least one tik addict in their social circle, but I don't experience the same in Gauteng.not sure if you're hinting at something , but I think we've got more factories down here.
It depends on the substance. Cannabis, for example, can be psychologically addictive but has no physiological component. Drugs like tik and heroin are very different animals. Addiction to substances like tik and heroin are serious medical conditions that require expert medical care. It's not something that can just be prayed away.

Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated.
Unfortunately our employee decided to go AWOL yesterday, was at work for 2 hours and then just disappeared. Tried contacting him numerous times without an success. Seems like he has decided to throw in this towel career wise to seek treatment for his kid.
