See how you shot yourself in the foot now...decided against under counter lightingso what now
Quarter rounds go in before tile is layed ,tile holds it in place, don't fit any proprietary product instead of quarter round ,if it has to be replaced later it's a mess ,if already in then you must fix quarter round with bostic marine and hold inplace with pieces of wood until dry .Hi guys, tiling at the moment, tiler tiles up to cupboard tops what do you do to hide any small imperfections?

So I assume grout the "connection" and silicon between cupboard and tile?See how you shot yourself in the foot now...
A neat bit of silicone will do the trick, given the cupboards being white..
Yep..So I assume grout the "connection" and silicon between cupboard and tile?
gotcha!Yep..
can you silicon onto grout or rather just silicon the small grove between tile and cupboard?Yep..
You can do both, but if you ever need to replace the silicone, it would be a lot easier to remove if it's on the grout instead of the gap between..can you silicon onto grout or rather just silicon the small grove between tile and cupboard?
ah, any particular silicon I should be looking at for this? You can do both, but if you ever need to replace the silicone, it would be a lot easier to remove if it's on the grout instead of the gap between..
anything 100% silicon based would be okay, maybe something with mould resistance too..ah, any particular silicon I should be looking at for this?
what are the fancy ones you refer you?anything 100% silicon based would be okay, maybe something with mould resistance too..
Sanded or tile caulk would be the preferred choice, but alas we live in SA and don't get nice things here..
I don't have the links anymore, but Sika make Sikatile which is a sanded caulk..what are the fancy ones you refer you?
Even if you post an EU link
Yeah, will be fine..
Sweet thanks your comments on sanded chaulk did send me down a rabbit hole but alas not for us here in this countryYeah, will be fine..
I watched foreign biulding/builders youtube channels, whenever I see a product that they use for a similar problem that I have, I go down that dame rabbit hole, only to realise it is not available or available at a steep premium.Sweet thanks your comments on sanded chaulk did send me down a rabbit hole but alas not for us here in this country![]()
