I want to put down a small 1.5 x 1.5 wooden Wendy house. But I want a proper base - so perhaps 2 x 2

I’ll get someone in to do it - but is laying tiles outside anymore difficult than laying paving? Maybe a foundation or something needed so they don’t sink? Is that a thing?

I’d prefer tiles - but can do bricks if really needed

I am confused, what does the wendy have to do with the tiles/paving..? You are putting down a concrete base for the wendy, so where do you want to do the paving/tiles..?

2x2 wendy house is tiny. What do you want to store in it?

You want the Wendy preferably 150mm min. but at least 300mm from the ground to protect the wood. Assuming it has a wooden base.

Permanent structure. So I would do a simple 250 wide x 200 deep strip foundation and the brick it to about 300 above ground, put dpc over the brick and then the Wendy on top or that.

Alternatively just pour a 100mm slab, put two or three H3 bearers on top and dpc over the bearer and then the Wendy house on top of that.

Temp Structure. Another option is klap some gravel on the ground. Compact as best as possible. (I would add a layer of damp proofing over the gravel) Stack a couple of bricks on top of each other and gooi Wendy on top.

Yea - sorry

I want a proper base and as the house is terracotta, I want to do a 2 x 2 terracotta base to match the rest of the house.

I’ll place the Wendy house on the tiles

A lawnmower, weee eater and the odd garden tools. The Wendy house at the moment is smaller & perfect - I bought the house with it (14 years back) and it’s looking tired.

Yea the current they placed on the soil and I bought it like that 14 years back. It’s probably 150mm-200mm off the ground and done it’s time. I still want to raise it - but with a solid bass under and maybe a drain

Unsure if I should get a traditional wood or something like the below. But I thought of putting plants etc in front and making it look nice
