Tim Lowry joins the MTN South Africa (MTN SA) team as it new Managing Director. He has also been appointed as vice-president for the Southern & East Africa (SEA) Region.
Tim has over 30 years experience in the global telecommunications. Most recently he was vice-president Western Europe for France Telecom (FT) where he was responsible for operational performance, corporate governance and business development of FT's businesses in Holland, Switzerland and Belgium.
Prior to this, Tim was vice-president for Mergers and Acquisitions, Orange SA, London from 2001 to 2003 and from 1991 to 2001, Director of Corporate Programmes at Cable & Wireless Plc. His 10-year career at Cable & Wireless Plc included posts in Africa, the Middle East, Australia and Europe.
