Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right forum for this post (apologies if it's not).

My ASUS Transformer TF101G finally gave up the ghost (screen died) and I'm now in the market for a new Android tablet.
I'm not up to date on the latest in tablets, but so far it seems that Samsung and Sony are the best options at the moment? I'd appreciate any advice on current models and preferences.

Thanks

You'd need to post a price range and what you use it for so the guys can help.

I bought a Samsung Tab 4 for R5 000 because the Note 10.1 was R10 000. It was a mistake, should've bought one with a stylus.

Samsung Tab S2 soon to be announced but sure to be pricey.

Yeah, sorry - should have posted some spec details.

I'm looking for a 10" tablet (same as my old one). Stylus would be a bonus but not totally necessary. External SD card would be good.
I'm flexible on price range - perhaps not more than R10 000.

Just get the Xperia Z2 and spend the rest on a PS4.

It's a bit smaller, but a few days ago I purchased a Nexus 9 and I am more happy with it than my older Samsung tabs (even when new).

OP you should decide beforehand whether you need a stylus or not.

The whole Galaxy Tab 4 range does provide multi-window support and you can just buy your own stylus to keep around you.

Probably from Samsung themselves but that won't work on normal tablet screens
