Hi

I've been considering dual booting Win XP Pro and and XP 64-bit but the last I heard (which was quite a while ago) was that 64-bit drivers are scarce and also 64-bit XP isn't stable. So would you guys recommend dual booting 64-bit now or should I wait?

I'll dual boot only to a separate partition with something like Master Booter. I'm not a 100% sure the two OS'ses will coexist on a single partition without hassle.

dude is there a reason you wanna go 64?
i mean there is not much difference apart from the fact its alot faster in opening of folders and suck

but 32 bit programs run just as slow on 64 as they do on 32 bit windows

my advice dont worry about 64 bit its not that great because all your old printers will not work you have to go out and buy new printers because all the printer companies are to damn money crazy to release 64 bit drivers for free

remember that firefox is a 32 bit application

basically this is how it works as far as i know

any 32 bit application will not work faster because its 32 bit
64 application will fly but there are not many of those out

although im sure if firefox has a 64 version

ive used it 64 bit
i play alot of bf 2 on it and there was performance difference what so ever

frames where the same

i stopped using it because it didnt really work that much better
plus having to select my OS everytime i botted became annoying
