Looks handy for dialup and gprs as well.

Its like a proxy that gives you a minimalist cellphone version of a website.

Have you tried installing Opera Lite?

no ill try it. im using the built-in browser over the internet APN. using the BIS is just a waste of time, it times-out on 8/10 pages i tried to open.
