For anybody who uses or will use wire transfer as an option to send money overseas, use Bidvest Bank/Rennies Foreign Exchange.

It's really a hassle free process provided you have everything they need to do the transfer.
Their fees are extremely good, thus you also eliminate the exhorbitant fees charged by your normal banks.
I wired 55 Euros to Switzerland recently, and just had to pay 9 euro's extra in total for bank charges either way.
