Since this is a new product being marketed by Esquire (and having just bought one), I thought it would be a great idea to have such a thread.

Any issues/highlights/good to know's etc can be posted here.

Got mines yesterday - and I got the wireless (300MB) adapter as well. (if you have a Realtek based adapter - then it will work in the Playon HD as well)

Picked up my wireless n/work fine.
For some reason I cannot pick up any internet stations. Anyone else having the same issue?
 
unwired, did you buy the unit and the wireles adapter from Esquire? If not, from where and price?

yep, bought it all from Esquire.

Playon HD was R 1 099 excl vat
and the wireless was R 299 excl (note if you have a realtek chipset based adapter that should work as well)

these are intro prices. it seems the normal should be R 1 229 and R 309 respectively.
they are open on saturdays - so check with your branch
 
Why are we starting numerous threads on this unit? It is becoming disjointed with the same things being covered in all. Can the mods not maybe join them all. I am interested in reading up on these as I have one but am not wanting to see the same things covered over and over.

started this thread without knowing about the one you had already created.
since there are a lot more posts on the earlier thread i am happy to use that one and have already posted there.

so if the mods are listening - pls combine both into one.
