Tips for organising your garage

So bit of a random question - if you could start again how would you set up your garage?
Or if you're happy with yours perhaps share how you keep everything organised or post pics if you'd like - brag so I can get jealous and try copy you.
I'm referring to how you keep your various tools - spanners, screwdrivers, drills, nuts and bolts, larger power tools - in a toolbox, on those wall pegs, those big fancy tool chests?
Any mistakes you've made? Do you keep spare light bulbs, batteries, luggage in your garage or are those in a study? I know much of this is space dependent but just interested in some MyBB ideas/ tips

Mine is a mess. We moved in and dumped a bunch of plastic crates with **** against a wall and left it. Boxes have piled up a bit as well. Already have shelves installed but they aren't the greatest and some more thought can be put in here.

Plan is to clear this out and repaint as well as repaint the floor.

At least both cars still fit. It is a bigger than normal garage at least. Thank you to the 80s for understanding that garages don't just house cars.
 
Most of my stuff is in our old single garage, steel shelving stores almost everything, a few things on and under my main workbench, portable washing lines along open wall with inverter/MPPT/control unit/batteries on the same open wall. The main double garage has as little as possible in it but has deep freeze, tumble dryer, storage chest, fire wood, gas bottles, mountain bikes and my BIL's enduro bike and kit at the moment. Our new house has a lovely double garage with cupboards which I am looking forward to but will miss having three garages and need to find a safe place for my MkI Golf to be stored.
 
These shelves really the bees knees. I hate wall-mounted shelving and these are super quality and sturdy. Bit expensive. Buy once, cry once.

I used these guys in 2018, bought two refurbished 900mm x 300mm x 2000mm steel shelves for R800 each, delivered.

 
Tandem garage. Fits 2x cars plus 5x bicycles. Bikes are chained together and to the roof rafter with a thick chain and big lock for obvious reasons. Mofos will need to bring power tools to get them. Oh and I keep the expensive power tools in a cupboard in my study after a recent incident - my toddler opened the garage (remote) on refuse collection day and some naaier had a reggies rush. Garage now as CCTV with 'AI-based' person detection and notification.

I will probably hang two bicycles from the roof for easier access soon.

Shelving along one side to store boxes and other misc stuff.
 
It looks like the secret is to have one car in a double garage.
WRT those shelves from TA....
They look lekker but that's really pricey. Are they super sturdy? I've seen similar shelves from Builder's but they aren't perhaps as sturdy - I was of the opinion they were cheaper though.. Maybe could screw them into the walls?
