Tips to Boost your eBucks

My banker confirmed that on PW an FNB Tax Free Shares Account counts towards the minimum investment balance to collect points for:
"Have an FNB or RMB Private Bank Investment Account (excluding an Equity Trading Account) and maintain a minimum monthly balance of:"
But I think you guys know more about ebucks than she does, so can anyone confirm this.
 
So i made a mistake... i queried why my ebucks didn't come through for May for my smart device (I'm a PW customer), and i clicked this morning... i changed the debit ordr for it from the 25th of the month to the 1st like everything else. And because it went off on 1 June - i didnt get the ebucks. So that kinda sucks... but it was self inflicted!
 
Does an ebucks card help with earning more ebucks ?

I currently get 1500 points for having a smart device but for the new rules it doesn't have it? is this going to fall away still?
 
Thanks for your feedback, at least when the new rules come in the 1500 points is my backup in case I'm short of 18k points.
 
How does one upgrade from Plat to PC ?

Do I need to "schedule" it for the beginning of the month or wont it have any affect on my earnings/rates etc. ?


EDIT: Or even an upgrade to PW for that matter.

If I were you I'd do it at the start of the month.
 
As far as I see, I should be on lvl 4. I don't want to take out a loan so that's not happening and the investment plans aren't viable at the moment (will have to wait till next year April before I can look at that).

Going to be hard to remember not to pull out my cheque card to pay stuff...might just leave it at home :p
 
online bill payments

Hi Guys. Does anyone pay their multichoice account with their credit card online? EBUCKS is insistent that this won't count as an online payment (won't get ebucks or points for buying online) but I just want to check. Same question applies to rates/telkom etc online bill payments. THANK YOU

I found the answer. EBUCKS call center knows nothing

Why don't you pay your Telkom and Rates via EasyPay as they count as Online Shoppping?

When i had a cellc contract, i paid via Easypay too.
And if you go to restaurants or coffee shops... try and pay with Zapper or Snapscan.
 
I'm thinking it maybe worthwhile changing ebucks for vouchers while on level 5 and guaranteeing 40% discount. (good if you are unsure of your level after the changes kick in.)

Does anyone know how long the Makro vouchers are valid for?

They are valid for 3 years, it states that on sms sent when buying an e-voucher
