yep R9.50 to use ewallet ,max amount is R3000.

Its cheaper to ewallet yourself then to withdraw R3000 from your own account lol

Just check the pricing, it's free on unlimited and in some bundled options on PW.

What limit applies to eWallet? Is it the 3k default limit they mention that can't be changed or is it limited by one of the other Daily Limits specified in Online Banking?

Also, I notice via a browser you can use an address book for cellphone numbers but on the app no such option?!

TL;DR:
Pick the appropriate account type. Have a matching credit card
Look at the points earn rules, and conform to them
Shift your spend where possible to online etc, and to vendors where you get larger rewards eg checkers
Spend your ebucks wisely (discounted vouchers)
Profit

Hi, I have information/warning regarding ebucks travel.

Ebucks travel only offers SAA, BA and kulula domestic flights.

Mango handles the flights on SAA's behalf for some destinations i.e Cape Town.
Ebucks travel wont list this flight because SAA codeshares with Mango. The SAA flights offered from Cape Town include stops in PE etc, this makes the journey longer and more expensive.

The Kulula website sometimes offers cheaper accommodation than Ebucks travel. You cannot place a booking for accommodation on the Kulula website and pay with ebucks. The Kulula website redirects you to ebucks travel.

The discount received via ebucks travel is too complicated. You can only receive a discount on accommodation if you book your flight, car hire and accommodation with ebucks travel. There arent any discounts awarded on accommodation only,it has to be a combination.

What a rip off.

Mango flights were cheaper and I wont get a discount on my accommodation.

There arent any discounts on BA flights, I wasnt able to book a Kulula flight because the time of flight was inconvenient.

Agreed.. I started looking around one day and compared kulula direct vs discovery vs ebucks travel. The very next day kulula started their supposed sale. The sale prices were even more when compared to what I got the previous day. The ebucks travel stayed the same and when factoring in the 40% base fare discount, it was still cheaper. This was flying down from JHB to CPT.

Are OK franchise stores considered part of Checkers/Shoprite spend? An OK franchise store out in Stilbaai for example. I think this is like a little grocery store but I will have to double check with my old man.

I am most disappointed to see you can no longer buy Airtime from the ebucks store. This really sucks :(

I also see a number of items no longer are eligible for a further discount (based on your reward level). Any idea when these changes were made?
