Tips to Boost your eBucks

Very Strange

I was on RL5, now I'm on RL4 but it shows I accumulated 20,000 for activity for July's banking behaviour (i.e New Rules). I think they must've updated the reward levels (taking me to RL4), realised it was wrong and then back-tracked without resetting reward levels. I'm on PW

Edit: Ebucks still not in

My points are updated based on the new rules, but no eBucks allocation yet. I got 24000 points, although if I count everything together that I earned points for I only get to 23000 points.

Everything was as expected except for the following:
I received the 1000 points for a FNB HL and no manual prepaid withdrawals although I did transfer money from my HL during the month.
I did not receive the 1000 points for a scheduled transfer of R500 into an FNB Investment Account (Money Market Account) and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account.

Moved down to LVL 3 from LVL5 - platinum

Can anyone advise how I get max points for the following:

Between 25% and 100% of your total monthly spend is on your FNB Platinum Credit Card - 4000 pts.
- I only got 2000 pts. I'm *relatively* sure I didn't spend anything on my cheque card other than debit orders? How do I get 100%?

Rules are below:
• Between 75% and 99.9% of your total monthly spend is on your Platinum Credit Card - 2000
• 100% of your total monthly spend is on your Platinum Credit Card - 4000
* Total monthly spend = FNB Platinum Credit Card spend + FNB Platinum Cheque Card spend; excludes EFTs, Cash@Till™ and transfers.

Didn't get points for the following rule though I have an Ecall account with the correct balance and a scheduled monthly transfer of R500. Rest seems correct.

Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R500 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account

Got 23,000 points, should be 24,000. Going to close my Euro account and lose 2,000 points, so should still be on RL5.

Does anyone know why I didn't get maximum points for the highlighted items?

Thanks Sinbad, was about to delete that post, it is correct in terms of the tiers. Damn.

I got the 4000 points for 100% spend on CC. Still reward level 5...but damn I did get less ebucks than I am used to. That 30% down to 20% cap drop on checkers spend hurts.

It's a pity they did that as I was just about to move more of my Woolies purchases to Checkers. Their loss.

My points are in, I am reward level 5 with 19 000, but I actually should have still received another 3 000 points....

Calculations were wrong....

Flexi-Fixed Deposit does count for the investments thing right?

I got points for:

Have an Investment Account and maintain a monthly balance of R10 000 or more

but not for:

Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R500 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account

I have the right account, balance and scheduled transfer. Kind of a weird overlapping rule though ...

I have a flexi-fixed deposit for both, but did not get those points.

Btw, you can figure out your earn now:

My eBucks
Scroll to My eBucks Discount & Reward Level
Click How I got this
Change the drop down box, it reflects the new earn

I haven't got my eBucks, but it looks like I just scraped into level 5 with 18000 points.

EDIT: They made a mistake with my Wesbank stuff though. I should get another 2000 points for that, not that it matters but I want a safety net.

Summing up manually, I might get R720 worth of eBucks this month.
