It's just weird that they essentially give away the ebucks in such a split fashion since you have to have insurance with a bond.

So only reason I can think they would give you extra points is for having insurance with FNB instead of someone else.

I've had so much bad luck calling into FNB, I've been trying to enable email as secondary OTP on my account and you have to call in to get it done. Your PW banker isn't allowed to enable it if you ask them.

But their verification system isn't working, it asks for the last 6 digits of your card and even though I do give it all six their system doesn't accept it. So then the helper center person keeps trying to explain me to how to count six digits off my card.

I'm actually very close to moving over to Investec banking from FNB PW, I'm doing a lot more work from my side these days to keep my banking on point.

I had the same issue with the verification system. My banker said I should just make the request via online banking "contact private banker" and she would be able to authorise it. And it was sorted.

I actually found out. FNB insurance are unwritten with multiple other insurance firms.

The long and short on my side ... I didn't get that 1000 eB points for not being incontact.

Emailed my private banker, and she game me a full list of accounts that are "verified" for incontact.

As describe earlier, I made sure all my accounts have incontact disclaimer verification on. She double checked after I updated it via online banking, and that is it.

It would have been nice to see all the red flags before hand. At least I didn't move down any levels

Yeah that's fine, but I still expect these points to have only been valid for insurance were they were the "broker" then.

Still waiting on mine to come through so will check then what's potting as I should have both ticked then.

Take note, I am with FNB insurance brokers, and on that, you don't earn any ebucks. This was raised before
 
Just for interest sake, I got full points for having up to date insurance on my HL without having to supply proof of insurance.

My bond is less than a year old though and submitted proof of insurance as part of bond registration.
 
Did any of you guys get 1000 points for :

Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R500 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account

Question related to this ... does a manual transfer count ?

I didn't. Have sent a query. I believe it needs to be scheduled.
 
I didn't get my points for incontact.
My vrau swiped with the cheque card once by mistake, so am now on level 4.

This months is a high spend month for me so am really pissed off

Have sent message to my personal banker about incontact

Verify that all your accounts have email address and make sure that each account have been ticked (the disclaimer).

That was my issue.
 
Spoke to FNB - the lady could see that I should have been allocated my Wesbank points and wasn't. She has referred it to Wesbank to investigate.

Probably a problem affecting all or most Wesbank clients, which means they might have to do some recalculation. My reward level doesn't change, but some others might.

This I got: (easy)
Log in to WesBank Online at least once a month 1000
1000

This I didn't get, but then again, mine hasn't been active yet for 12months, only 8.
Have an active FNB Vehicle Finance or WesBank Account which you have paid on time, update your contact details in the last 12 months via WesBank Online and give WesBank permission to market to you

I didn't get my points for this, which would of taken me to RL5. Called and logged a query, awaiting feedback
