that sucks... ok, i'll ask her to check. thanks.

Now that I think about it. Is is since we switched to electronic invoices. Downloading the invoice from the eTshwane site ourselves now.

The much older invoices we received per post still had the EP number on it. I used one of those and just loaded the beneficiary on EP.

When paying for DStv using USSD, what is the eBucks earn rate? Is it considered an online transaction?
Isn't *120*321# just FNB's cellphone banking #? So I assume using that, it will be like doing an EFT payment, so no ebucks earn on that.

Personally the "Make once-off credit card payments" seems to be the best method to use for maximum ebucks earn, which should be an online transaction.

Ahh, I feared that was the case. I've been struggling to link my smart card using the self service functionality on the DStv website, but am not having much luck. Will ensure I get it sorted before the next payment is due so that I can make the once-off credit card payment.

Thanks guys!

Do you mean do an EFT and pay with your CC ?

Not at all. EFT from CC = immediate interest and no ebucks, so no point in doing that.

on The DSTV website there is an option to pay with credit card once off. Its a normal CC payment.

Ohhh ok ... that make sense. It is like easy pay ... just via the DSTV website. I wanted to raise the issue of interest, but I now know what you meant !

Hi guys.
Can someone please help?...
I'm on Gold.
When I signed up for an FNB CC, I set my overall limit to R15k, ("straight" limit is R10,500)
Last month I swiped for just under R12k, but the total outstanding amount never reached more than R7,500 (i.e. I made multiple transfers into the CC as the month progressed).
What does this mean for my "10% to 90%" eBucks rule? Will I have breached the rule by swiping (for the month in total) over R10,500 ... even though I never had an outstanding amount of more than 75% of the "straight" limit?

Should be fine.
As the name of the rule states - it's a limit rule and not a spend rule. FNB definitely won't penalise you for lots of spend!

Damn. A debit order came off earlier than expected and I bounced R100 over my limit. Loss of points!

I hope I still have enough to reach L5.

/edit

Checked calculator. Should be ok....

Strangely Ebucks are not yet reflected on Gold Cheque as generally by the 6th it is

I understand that the CCs run on the 7th (Dont know if this is standard all round), so I only expect it from then onwards.

Can anyone please explain why my purchases for the middle of the month is not here?
Everything between the 7th of December and the 4th of January is missing.

Which "investment accounts" add towards your ebucks? I have emergency money that I keep handy, would the Money on Call account work?

Then setup to move R500 to that account every month.

Thoughts?

Come on ebucks! Need to buy an air conditioner before the next heatwave hits.
