OK: situation update.
Last week, I began hosting Titan from my room in Smuts Hall. No more than 12 hours later, ICTS/ResNet has blocked my port with no notification or warning whatsoever.
Yes, that's right: I don't even get a take-down notice. Which I should, considering that UCT apparently stands by the ISPA Code of Conduct, which requires them to follow notification and take-down requests in a formal and official manner. It also says that a member of the ISPA should act fairly, reasonably, professionally and in good faith when dealing with consumers.
From the above, I think we can conclude that either UCT ResNet and ICTS have a dire reading comprehension problem, or are instead a psychotic group of diktats with no care for the rights of their consumers, the details of their policies, or the expectations they need to adhere to as a registered ISP.
I eagerly await a response from someone like South_Bit to provide some insight into the matter.
