Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

A submersible used to take tourists to view the wreck of the Titanic has gone missing in the Atlantic Ocean, sparking a search and rescue mission.

The Boston Coastguard told the BBC a search operation for the submersible was under way on Monday.

It is not clear how many people, if any, were on board at the time it went missing.

Small submersibles occasionally take paying tourists to visit the wreck of the Titanic.

Prices have gone up...

The mission support fee for the 2023 Titanic Survey Expedition is $250,000.

I see their FAQ doesn't mention anything about safety, I guess the high-risk part of it is a given.
