Hello, forum.

Could anyone help me understand why my TelkomInternet ADSL statistics page is showing an awful lot of "current active sessions"?

I've been seeing that for a while now, but this morning after powering on my machine at (please note) 10:15am, I saw the following and got sort of suspicious....

I swear I did not even have time to upload or download ANYTHING.

Connection 1 0.5379 MB Last refreshed @10:16
Connection 2 8.4825 MB Last refreshed @10:16
Connection 3 0.0 MB Last refreshed @10:16
Connection 4 5.7854 MB Last refreshed @10:16

Well dude, I'm experiencing the same problem you are, Just came back from holiday and have noticed, that someone has been using my Internet connection... I've just changed my password, to see if it changes, If not then either there T1 tracker is fked up hecticly.

this was kinda started in this thread: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=97357

And I did the same as you, changed the password, etc, but made no diffference. I then sent Telkom an email asking them wtf this means and they just sent me their standard copy/paste "only you've logged onto your account from your line blah blah don't use your wireless, please use anti-virus and firewall"

Don't think they actually read my question at all. Incompetent fools.

Yeah, cableM, I that post where they talk about 37 active connections is heavy. Maybe TI Tracker tracks protocols - like Conn 1 - http Conn 2 - https Conn 3 - ftp etc, but how on earth is 37 protocols possible in one bunch? :)

By the way, I wonder how to get in touch with TiTracker developer. I am writing a bandwidth tracking tool in Java and post it here for free, but there are always glitches when I try to "speak" to TITracker.

Maybe that dude can explain us more?..
