TM LTE E3276 and Huawei AF23 Compatibility

Hi

I have a dilemma...
I have a TM E3276 (920 model) and have just received a Huawei AF23 LTE/3G Sharing Router.

Problem: the E3276 does not work when connected to the AF23 and I've recently read on MyBB that the 2 are not compatible (on the TM network), even though the Huawei and other websites indicate that the E3276 will work with the AF23.

Has anyone found a workaround or can anyone advise on how to get these two devices to talk?
I need a device to create a hotspot so that I can share my TM LTE data wirelessly with my other devices and do not want to buy the big LTE router from TM.

I guess you have a HiLink firmware on your E3276? It causes problems for most routers, but strange that it doesn't even work with Huawei's own router.

It causes problems for most routers, but [-]strange[/-] disappointing that it doesn't even work with Huawei's own router.

Mmmm....I have same type of problem....not so sure if its because hilink device as the router sees the dongle...that is, shows signal strength and that it is LTE, can change SIM pin etc....just the connection fails with type of No Service error and red light on router ....did work once though....since then, got myself a Mi-Fi device...works mostly in it but get sometimes also No Service error...if I have time, I think i will try a Vodacom SIM in the 8ta dongle (3G) with the AF23 just to check if that works....if it does, think will maybe do SIM swap from the current 8ta (black) SIM to the newer Telkom Mobile SIMs (blue ones)..

I tried both, black (8ta) and blue (Telkom Mobile) SIMs and neither worked.
But try it anyway...
