I'm interested in what you guys are using for TMS.

My main requirement is the ability to match pincodes to costs centres/groups.

The standard open source system for Asterisk is 'A2billing'. If you do not want to go that root then probably the most popular propriety device is MAN 3000.

A2billing does do prepaid and postpaid billing, but it seems more complicated then i would want to use.
Am not really a fan of putting trunks through a2billing as well. KISS.

I'm more looking of something that manipulates the cdr db.
Not sure if a2billing does this.

For some commercial options

Standalone with once off costs and yearly renewal: TNG from Datatex.
Monthly cost per extension: Ti from Aspivia. They have many features such as being able to tie in Cell and Data usage into the same report, so you can get a complete picture of a persons usage across devices.

Monthly cost per extension would be too much with 1500 odd extensions.
Thanks for the info though, must just end up writing something simple myself(and gpl-ing it ofc :P)

Aspivias claim is that the monthly cost is recuperated by preventing abuse. So your spend with them will be compensated by a lower telephony bill. They do have a good system. But yes 1500 extensions will get a bit rough.

The clever part of these TMS systems is the costing engine and myriad of reporting options.

There was a local product that was open source but never got off the ground will see if I can track it down again. Might be a starting point for you.

I located a copy of the TABS source on a test machine of mine. If you want it drop me a PM.

Are you using IP for outbound calls, if so why is your SP not offering you a online TMS (free of charge) that can do this for you ?

Ecn's tms is dog slow, and a pain in the ass to get updated. IS is more of just a bill(which is awesome).
The problem comes in where lots of our guys share their phones (day/night shift), so the department/person is never bound to the extension.
