Hi

Currently I'm on a gprs mtn network with my cellphone, and I would like to get a faster connection again. I'm sure as hell not going back to telkom ADSL becuase I don't wan't to put up with their S again...

I still can't figuer out what isp's I wan't to go to. If anyone could give me ideas which service providers are better to like sentech or iburst etc

I have read some of the faq's on those companies but still don't quite get it.
I need accurate information... also need information on how their monthly cap usages works etc... (prices)

Thanks; Feedback would be nice...

I feel your pain. There arent any other options than ADSL/GPRS/3G/HSDPA/iBurst/Sentech AFAIK. And they all suck because of price and/or reliability.

Well, 3G/HSDPA is pretty reliable for me. The service only really gets worse during peak hours, which is to be expected from a company that handles data and voice transmission.

Now that I have HSDPA the speeds are a lot faster, and it seems to be going at speeds of 1mb/s which is nice. It all falls down to what you are prepared to pay for your desired service, I pay close to R400 p/m for 500MB of data. This is a lot but considering paying Telkom a fee of close to R700 p/m for only internet access I really don't see a reason.

then 3g/HSDPA it is... Deiphos when you signed up for the contract what did you need to buy to get good signals like cards or antennas? etc prices?

I mean what do i need to know before I buy the eqquipment?
