Hi

I see both mtn and virgin mobile have decent deals out

The think I want to go for the desire hd
Question is... should I wait or get it now?
I see the glalaxy s2 is dual core and seems insane
but will that be in SA in the next 2-3months or like next year this time?

I am not in a rush I guess, but a new phone will be nice

Buy the bests phone which is currently available, if you going to wait for the next best thing you going to wait for ever.

That being said, we are close to the beginning of a new cycle, since Android 2.2 phones have been out for quite a few months now. In other words, not long to wait for dual core Android 2.3 phones.

On the other side of the coin, you should now be able to get better deals on the Galaxy S. If a new phone comes out, its going to be expensive, and you wont have as much bargaining power.

phones usually take 1-2months after global release (some phones not as much)

now im not talking about importing but our carriers usually get phones that late, so yeah the SGS/Desire HD is your best bet right now. although we are on a verge of a new era (multicore devices)

also you dont know how much these dual core phones will cost when they get here. hopefully not more than iPhone prices
