Hi there,

I have a Wireless Netgear ADSL Router.

Which is the best setup for my Home?
My own PC is connected to my printer and serves as the server (sort of). This PC is most of the time the only one connected to the net. Is it better to make the connection between my PC and the router wireless or with my LAN?

I am just curious and want to know whats the best setup.

Regards,

Deon

Cable is usually faster and have fewer hassles. So, if a cable is feasible, for example the two things are in the same room, that would probably be the best choice.

The new 1000x network cards are awesome. Speeds like that are soooo impressive. Only cable of course.
But - if you're not planning on high throughput and dont care about being possibly hacked , the wireless convenience cannot be beaten. Just don't expect your microwave to not affect your network. :)
