To stay uncapped or not!

Hey All

Have been having enough issues with shaping and the like. I am looking at either changed my uncapped package or moving to a capped account. Using a 10mbps line but have a 4mpbs capped account from Mweb the Premium uncapped @ R539 a month, not looking at spending more if possible. I see they offer a 10mbps uncapped for R539 per month but am worried that they will shape heavily during the day as I get about 2mbps during office hours then it gos to about 3.5mbps after that. If the 10mbps account could run at 4mbps during office hours and close to 10mbps after hours I would be happy. I use on average 300-400 Gigs of data. If anyone has expereince with the 10mpbs accounts, I would be grateful on their feedback.

Also open to other ISP's.

You currently have a 4Mbps uncapped account with us. The 10Mbps account you are referring to is a Standard account with a lower threshold and based on your usage pattern will not suite your needs. Please advise what issues you have encountered with your current account as I do not pick up any issues on your account from my side.

Your first problem:
If you use 300-400Gbs per month MWEB's standard uncapped won't work for your.

You need Premium uncapped.

Your second problem:
You want day time performance, but don't want to pay more.

Your best solution:
Upgrade your 4meg premium, to 10Meg premium.

if you go to any other ISP you'll need business uncapped anyway at similar pricing.
